Writer/Director/Producer

Katherine is a producer for film and theatre. She produced her directorial debut: short film GOBLIN MARKET, which screened at the Cinematic Arts Fest in Los Angeles and won Best Cinematography Award at The Auckland International Film Festival in 2016.

In 2019, Katherine was appointed Associate Producer for THE CONCH, New Zealand’s leading Pacific theatre company. In 2019, she produced the development season of brave new work A BOY CALLED PIANO at BATS Theatre – shining a light on the experiences of thousands of Māori and Pacific children in state care in the 1960s. Katherine is proud to be continuing in this role – currently producing the documentary film A BOY CALLED PIANO for The Conch.

Katherine also created and produced her solo show GIRL IN THE LOFT, which explores her childhood growing up at The King’s Head Theatre in London, and premiered at BATS Theatre, Wellington in November, 2020.
